EM-Tec V22 compact vise sample holder for sample sizes up from 0-22mm with M4 thread. One fixed jaw and a spindle driven moving jaw. Jaw height is 10mm, clamping width is 25mm. Available with either the standard 3.2mm pin or an M4 threaded hole for mounting_x000D_ on the SEM sample stage or on the EM-Tec SEM stage adapter with M4 screw_x000D_ _x000D_ Operation_x000D_ _x000D_ Consider wearing gloves to avoid contamination._x000D_

  • To open the EM-Tec V22 compact vise type holder, rotate the knurled brass knob at the front of the holder._x000D_ Turning the knurled brass knob anti-clockwise will open the jaws; the moving jaw moves towards the back.

  • Place the sample in the opening (up to 22mm).

  • To close the jaws, turn the knurled brass knob clockwise and clamp the sample. Be careful not to overtighten_x000D_ the screw.
